Today I just couldn't seem to kick the fatigue that's settled over me. We traveled from our mountain hide-a-way to a town called Kesennuma, which is on the coast. I slept almost the entire two-hour drive. We had lunch with our new Rotary hosts and separated to our host families.
The Kawasaki family is hosting Beth and I. They live in a modernly decorated, yet elaborate apartment near downtown. We had a few hours to rest before our night Rotary meeting. And I slept all of that too.
Lesson learned: If I'm not careful, I'm going to miss the rest of my trip.
